Viewing to-dos and markup using the PageProof plugin for Adobe InDesign
There are two reasons why you may not be seeing comments marked as to-do using the PageProof plugin for Adobe InDesign.
Reason 1
The proof hasn’t been returned with a to-do list yet, or there are no comments marked as to-do.
The proof must have to-dos marked and have been returned to the proof owner/editor with a to-do list for the proof to be in the dashboard inbox of the proof owner/editor. By default, the plugin shows comments that are marked as to-do.
If you do not see the proof in the inbox, use the proof search at the top of the plugin to search for the proof.
After selecting the proof, if no comments are marked as to-do (the default filter), click the drop-down filter for comment status to select all comments.
Reason 2
If you are viewing the InDesign artwork in preview mode, the pins will not be visible since they are non-printing items. Preview mode will only show printable items.
To turn off preview mode, in Adobe InDesign go to view -> screen mode and select normal.
