Archiving a proof

As a proof owner or team administrator, if you need to manually archive the proof during its progress, you can.

Written by PageProof Team

In PageProof, reviewers should aim for an empty inbox. Once a reviewer has finished reviewing a proof and left their decision, that proof is automatically removed from their Inbox so they can focus on work that still requires action.

If, as a proof owner or team administrator, you need to stop work on a proof before it is complete, you can manually archive it at any time. Archiving prevents any further comments from being added until the proof is reopened.

To archive a proof

Step 1

Click the cog icon to manage your proof.

If a proofer searches for the proof via the dashboard, or opens the proof from the email invitation, they will be able to view the proof but no further comments can be added.

After a proof has been manually archived, it can be re-opened if required.

You can also bulk archive completed proofs by following the steps outlined here.
