Creating a proof directly from Canva

With the PageProof app for Canva you can create proofs and new versions directly from Canva. And easily action to-dos too.

As a designer, it is quick and easy to create proofs directly from within Canva and send them out to a PageProof workflow using the PageProof app for Canva. Then, when a to-do list has been returned, viewing and action the comments, marking them off as done as you go.

The PageProof app for Canva lets you:

  • Create proofs and new versions

  • See comments and the comment’s context (the markup on the proof)

  • Reply to comments

  • Place comment text, in a click

  • Download comment attachments.

To create a proof from Canva

Step 1

Head here to connect the app, or search for ‘PageProof’ in the Canva Apps Marketplace.

Step 2

Follow the installation instructions, authorize the app to access PageProof, and then log into PageProof.

Step 3

With your Canva design open, in the PageProof app click the upload to PageProof button.

Step 4

The proof name will default to the name of your Canva design. Select your export settings:

  • File type: PDF, PNG, MP4, etc.

  • Size, compression, transparency checkboxes

  • Select pages.

Click export to create the proof, then complete details in the proof setup screen – add a workflow, owners, checklists, integration references, and adjust proof settings.
