The PageProof integration for Asana lets an Asana team administrator create custom fields to display proof information directly within Asana projects.
These custom fields can be used in Asana rules, automations, and with Asana’s AI features, giving your team greater visibility and control over proofing workflows.
The field title must match the text shown in bold in this article exactly, including capitalization. The headings describe what each field does. They are not the field titles to enter. If a title is different, the integration may not update the field.
Before you start
The PageProof team administrator who connects Asana to PageProof must also be a member of the Asana projects where the fields should update. We recommend using a service account for the connection.
Add the custom fields to your Asana project using the field title, type, and options listed below. Where shown, select Add to field library.

Using PageProof triggers in Asana rules
Custom fields can also be combined with PageProof triggers in Asana rules to automate proof actions.
The following triggers are available:
Nudge reviewers: Reviewers who have not yet finished reviewing the proof will be nudged.
Skip current step: The mandatory reviewers and gatekeepers holding up the current workflow step will be skipped.
Approve proof: The proof will be given final approval.
Archive proof: The proof will be set to archived.

Shows the number of the proof’s current workflow step. We recommend hiding this field. A step number of 1,000 means the proof has reached the final step of its workflow.

Tip: Use an Asana rule for when there is a change in Current Step Number, check for text in the Current Step Name. For example, to set up a rule for when the proof reaches the 'Legal review' step.
Field titles are case-sensitive. Copy each title exactly as shown.
