We support files types from Microsoft Office, Adobe CC, Apple built-in apps, imagery, movie, audio, HTML, URLs, 3D content, email, and more.

Supported file types for proofing

  • Adobe InDesign, Acrobat PDF, Photoshop, Illustrator – these file types can be dragged and dropped directly

  • Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, & Premiere Pro (via the PageProof free add-on which you can download here)

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint – files as well as templates

  • Apple built-in apps Keynote, Pages, and Numbers

  • Imagery: jpeg, jfif, tiff, png, svg, webp, bmp

  • Movies: mp4, m4v, avi, mkv, mov, gif

  • Audio: mp3, wav (all bitrates)

  • Subtitle formats: srt, vtt

  • Camera RAW files and Apple HEIC files

  • HTML (contained within a zip folder)

  • Website URLs (live sites and staging sites). URLs for Google Docs, Google Sheets and Office365 document shared links too.

  • Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and InVision shared links

  • 3D, AR and VR content (via the SketchFab 3D content player)

  • Rich text format and text files: rtf, txt, csv

  • Fonts: otf, ttf, and ttc

  • Email: Send test emails directly to PageProof to create a proof. Email files (.eml) to drag and drop to create proofs are supported too.

If there is something you are looking for that isn’t listed above, please ask our team in-app as we are most likely currently working to support it!

Size limit

There is no file size limit if you’re selecting files from your storage provider – for example Box, Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive.


If you are selecting a file from your computer, or dragging a dropping a file, the size limit is 2GB.
