Creating a service account for your team’s PageProof integration for monday.com

We recommend using a service account in both PageProof and monday.com to ensure integration stability and avoid connection issues.

With the PageProof app, monday.com users can create proofs and reference them to a board, group, or item to keep your team up to date with progress of approvals. Please refer to this collection of articles for more information on the integration and the capabilities.

Why use a service account?

When setting up the integration between monday.com and PageProof, the monday.com user authorizing the PageProof app must be an administrator in both platforms. This account establishes and maintains the connection.

We recommend using a dedicated service account (e.g., [email protected]) rather than a personal user email. This avoids disruptions if the user leaves the organization and ensures the service account can be added to all boards where PageProof is installed – without cluttering boards with unrelated user access.

How to implement a service account?

Step 1

Create a service account in monday.com (for example [email protected]), and enable administration access for this account.

If single sign-on is enabled, please provision the email address within your SSO platform for both monday.com & PageProof.

Step 2

In PageProof, as a team administrator, click your avatar and select team, then team members. Click invite team.

Note

The service account must be able to receive emails to accept the team member invitation and account activation code.

Step 3

As the service account, accept the team member invitation, then log into PageProof.

A team administrator will need to enable the team admin access for the service account:
