Do you need to recovered a deleted proof? A team admin can do this via the team dashboard. Here’s how.

When a proof is deleted in PageProof, it isn’t removed immediately. Instead, it is soft deleted and moved to the Recently deleted area of the team dashboard for 7 days. During this time, a team administrator can recover the proof if needed.

After 7 days, the proof is permanently deleted.

Step 1

As a team administrator, select team then dashboard.

Team setting for soft delete proofs

When this setting is enabled:

  • Deleted proofs are kept in Recently deleted for 7 days before permanent removal.

  • Team admins can recover deleted proofs during this time.

If this setting is turned off, proofs are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

Step 1

As a team administrator, select team then dashboard, and select the proofs tab.

Step 2

Set the toggle for soft delete proofs.
