The PageProof app for Jira lets you create proofs from Jira issue attachments and view proof details on Jira issues. Connect Jira to your PageProof team to link proofs to Jira issues and use additional integration options.
What you can do
Create a proof from an attachment on a Jira issue using the PageProof app for Jira.
Add a PageProof card to a Jira issue to see the proof status, version, workflow step and due date, comment and to-do counts, and decisions.
Link a proof to a Jira issue from PageProof.
Show a proof summary comment on the Jira issue, if this option is enabled. The summary can include the current workflow step, counts of comments and to-dos, decisions, proof status, and other proof information.
Automatically upload the approved file to the Jira issue after final approval, if this option is enabled.
A Jira administrator with permission to install apps is needed to install the PageProof app from the Atlassian Marketplace. A PageProof team administrator who is also a Jira administrator is needed to connect Jira to PageProof. Anyone using the app or integration needs access to the relevant Jira project.
Install the PageProof app in Jira
A Jira administrator can install PageProof from the Atlassian Marketplace. Once installed, the app adds PageProof actions to Jira issues.
Connect Jira to PageProof
Connecting Jira to PageProof enables users to link proofs to Jira issues and lets team administrators configure integration options, such as uploading approved files or showing proof summary comments on Jira issues.
Step 1
As the team administrator, click your avatar and select team, then integrations.
Step 2
Select Jira, and follow the connection instructions.
Once connected, click the cog icon to configure advanced settings.
Create a proof from a Jira issue
Step 1
Open the Jira issue with the attachment you want to proof. Select the three-dot menu, then choose Create proof.
Step 2
Select an attachment, then click Continue in PageProof. PageProof opens the proof setup screen, where you can finish setting up and send the proof.
Add a PageProof card to a Jira issue
Step 1
Open the Jira issue. Select Add app action, then choose PageProof.
A PageProof card appears on the Jira issue for each proof linked to that issue. The card shows proof details at a glance, including its status, version, workflow step, due date, comment and to-do counts, and decisions.
Link a proof to a Jira issue
Step 1
In the proof setup screen or the proof’s info pane, select the three-dots icon next to the reference field and choose Jira.
Find the issue by pasting its URL or searching for its issue ID, then select it.
The Jira integration pill will appear on the proof once it’s linked.
Team administrators can configure advanced options, including whether approved proof files are uploaded to Jira automatically and whether a proof summary comment appears on the Jira issue.
