It is easy to connect the popular project management tool Trello with PageProof using our native integration so your team can keep track of your proofs in Trello.

With the PageProof app, Trello users can create proofs and reference them to a board or a card to keep your team up to date with the progress of approvals. You can also create new proofs directly from Trello attachments too.

To connect PageProof and Trello

Step 1: Ensure the reference field is turned on

As the team administrator, turn on the reference field.

Click your avatar and select team, then settings, and select the proofs tab. Turn on the reference field setting.

Step 2: Add the Trello integration to your team

As the team administrator, click your avatar and select team, then integrations, and select the Trello integration.

Step 3: Add the Pageproof Power-Up to Trello

In Trello, go to the board you want to connect to PageProof and click the Show menu found at the top right of the screen.

Under Power-Ups, click Add Power-Up and search for ‘PageProof’. Click Add.

Once PageProof is added to your power-up list, click Edit Power-Up settings and connect the board to PageProof.

To reference a proof to a Trello card

Step 1

In PageProof’s proof setup screen, or in the proof’s info pane, click the 3 dots icon next to the reference field and select Trello.

Step 2

Choose the Trello board or existing card that you’d like to reference.

Note: Referencing a board will create a new card.

When the proof changes status during its proofing lifecycle, the card will be updated automatically. The card contains details of:

  • The proof name and version

  • Due date

  • Current workflow step and step due date

  • Count of comments: Unmarked, to-do, and done.
