Advanced options for the PageProof integration for Jira

Learn more about the advanced setup options available for the PageProof integration for Jira. Team admins can configure these settings.

Team administrators can control advanced setup options for their team’s connected Jira integration.

To access advanced Jira integration options

Click your avatar and select team, then integrations. Then click the cog icon on the Jira integration card.

Advanced options for the Jira integration

Jira user

This user will be associated with proof actions seen on the Jira issue. This user’s permissions are used when searching for Jira tasks in the reference field. It is recommended to set up a user called ‘PageProof’. This user must have access to the Jira project.

Create proof links on issues

A PageProof section will display on the Jira issue with handy proof links.

Create proof summary on issues

A proof summary will display on the Jira issue with information such as:

  • The name of the proof

  • Proof status

  • Proof version

  • Workflow step the proof is up to, and the step due date

  • Count of decisions made on the proof

    • no decision

    • changes please

    • approved with changes (if this decision option has been turned on by the team administrator)

    • approved

  • Count of comments

    • unmarked

    • to-do

    • done

Attach approved files to issues

When a proof referencing an issue is given final approval, automatically upload its file to the issue.

Note: There is a file upload limit to Jira of 250MB.
