Troubleshooting for the PageProof & Airtable integration

If you are presented with one of the following messages, you’ll find steps below to assist.

The Airtable base couldn’t be connected because the PageProof Airtable app hasn’t been given access. How do I give the app access?

If the default Airtable user in the PageProof integration settings hasn’t given the PageProof Airtable app access to the base, you will see a message saying the base could not be connected.

There is no Airtable user connected to my PageProof integration. How do I connect a default user for the integration?

If there is no Airtable user connected to the PageProof integration, you will see a message in Airtable saying there is no connected user.

The PageProof team administrator can connect a user by following these steps:

Step 1

Click your avatar and select team, then integrations. Then click the cog icon on the Airtable integration card.

Under default Airtable user, click sign in to Airtable.

The Airtable base is already connected to a PageProof team. How do I disconnect the base?

If an issue occurred when trying to connect the base, you will see a message saying the base is already connected to a PageProof team.

The PageProof team administrator can disconnect the base by following these steps:

Step 1

Click your avatar and select team, then integrations. Then click the cog icon on the Airtable integration card.

Under connected Airtable bases, hover over the base name and click X to remove the base.

Access to the base has been revoked. How do I disconnect the base?

If the default Airtable user or an Airtable team administrator has revoked access to the base within PageProof’s integration settings, it can cause this issue. Make sure to check the integrations settings and ensure that the necessary access is granted.

The PageProof team administrator can disconnect the base by following these steps:

Step 1

Click your avatar and select team, then integrations. Then click the cog icon on the Airtable integration card.

Under connected Airtable bases, hover over the base name and click X to remove the base.

The PageProof extension has been added more than once to the base. What should I do?

The PageProof extension should only be added once to the base. Please remove any additional extensions if more than one has been added.

If the PageProof extension has been added more than once to the base, or if an issue occurred when trying to connect the base, you will see a message saying the base is already connected to a PageProof team.
