Use the automatic text search to quickly locate a word or partial word across an entire static proof. All matches will be highlighted – and you can easily navigate through the search results, and add a comment with a click.

What text search does

  • Scans the full proof for your search term.

  • Highlights all matching occurrences, including whole-word and partial matches.

  • Lets you move between matches using next and previous arrows. As you navigate, the proof automatically jumps to the correct page and location.

  • Allows you to refine results by matching whole words only (for example, “art” won’t match “partial”) and/or matching case (so “Art” won’t match “art”).

How to search for text within a static proof

Step 1

Click the text search icon found in the magic tools.
