Here’s a list of magic tools for proofing

  • Keyboard shortcuts. Work faster with a full range of shortcuts for navigating, reviewing, and switching tools without lifting your hands from the keyboard.

  • Hide/show pins. Toggle comment pins on or off to declutter the page and focus on the artwork when you don’t need to see feedback markers.

  • Invert pin colors. Swap pin colors for better contrast against light or dark artwork – ideal for improving visibility on busy or low-contrast designs.

  • Focus mode. Streamline your view by hiding all surrounding interface elements. Perfect for reviewing proofs on smaller screens or when you want complete concentration.

  • Add an outline. Visually frames the artwork – perfect for proofs with lots of whitespace where edges are hard to see. to the proof (great if the proof has a lot of whitespace)

  • Ruler. Measure distances and element size with pixel-perfect accuracy.

  • Gridlines. Reveal a clear alignment grid to check spacing, layout balance, and the precision of placed elements.

  • Barcode scanner. Automatically detects and verifies barcodes and QR codes on the artwork, saving manual checking time.

  • PDF comment import. Bring in comments and markup from an Adobe Acrobat PDF with a click – ideal for teams combining offline and online reviews.

  • Spell check. Scans text on the proof and highlights potential spelling errors. Choose from multiple dictionaries or add your own custom terms.

  • Color check. Use the eyedropper to sample any color and check contrast between two colors to ensure WCAG AA/AAA accessibility compliance.
