PageProof integrates with over 6,000 webapps using zapier.com. For an introduction to how PageProof works with Zapier, please read this article first.
Note: PageProof has a seamless native integration with Asana that is available on all PageProof plans.
To integrate Asana and PageProof via Zapier
Before you begin
Have the following accounts set up:
• PageProof account (you must be an administrator of your PageProof Team, Team Plus, or Enterprise plan)
• Asana account (you must be a team administrator)
• Zapier account (a free account is all you need to get started)
Instructions to set up a Zapier connection with PageProof and Asana
Step 1
In PageProof, in your main menu click team, then integrations, then manage zaps.
What you need to know:
PageProof provides three triggers:
• Proof started
• Proof to-dos requested
• Proof approved
These triggers can be connected to an Asana action using Zapier.
Asana’s actions include:
• Create story
• Create task
• Create project
• Update task
• Create subtask
• Find task in project (creates one if it doesn’t exist)
• Find user
• Find project (creates one if it doesn’t exist)
• Find section in project
When a trigger is sent to Zapier, you can optionally use a filter to help make decisions about your action. PageProof sends everything it knows about a proof with every trigger.
For example, the PageProof trigger will contain:
• Proof title
• Status
• Owners
• File extension
• File type
• URL
• Tags
• Message to reviewers
• ID
• Uploader
• Started at
• Created at
• Due date
• Event
Step 2
To create a zap, go to the PageProof zapbook (with your Zapier account logged in) where you can choose the already created Asana zap, or click on Make a Zap! to start a new zap from scratch.
Choose your PageProof Trigger
Choose your PageProof account
Choose your Asana Action
Choose your Asana account
Setup the template of how you’d like the PageProof data to go into Asana
Test the step
Name the zap
Enable the zap
Note: You can add a filter inbetween the trigger and action if you need to. You can also add additional actions.
Once you have created your zap, you should see the PageProof trigger and Asana action (as seen below):
