This article explains how PI credits work, where credits are used, and how team admins can manage them.
Depending on your PageProof plan, your team will receive a certain number of free credits on the first day of each month.
Team: 250
Teams Plus: 500
Enterprise: 1,000
These complementary credits expire at the end of the same month.
What are PI credits?
PI credits are consumed when PageProof Intelligence analyzes a proof or performs AI-powered actions.
Credits are shared across your team and are used for features such as:
PI comments (AI-suggested markup)
PI agents
PI dashboard and reporting insights
Other AI-powered analysis features within PageProof Intelligence.
How credits are used
Credits are consumed when a PI feature runs against a proof or proofing data.
The number of credits used depends on factors such as:
File size
Number of pages
Amount of data being analyzed
Complexity of the analysis being performed.
Who can purchase PI credits?
Team admins can purchase additional PI credits for a team under team settings.
Purchased credits become available immediately and are shared across the team. These purchased credits have no expiry.
Viewing your PI credit balance
Team admins can view under the account tab of team settings:
Remaining PI credits (free and paid credits)
(coming soon) Credit usage by team member.
What happens when credits run out?
Free credits are consumed first, followed by purchased credits. If your team runs out of PI credits:
PI-powered features will stop running
Existing proofs and comments remain available
Additional credits can be purchased at any time.
Once credits are added, PI features will continue working normally.
