When enabled, PI comments automatically add comments directly onto the proof, giving reviewers a smarter starting point before review begins.
PageProof Intelligence® (PI) comments is a Teams Plus and Enterprise feature that helps your team move faster from review to approval by automatically creating comments for key issues identified by PI Insights.
What are PI comments?
PI comments automatically creates comments on the proof based on critical and important issues detected during PI Insights analysis.
These comments:
Are posted by PageProof Intelligence using a PI avatar
Are added automatically after proof creation
Are left unmarked by default
Can be marked as to-dos by users with the appropriate permissions.
This helps reviewers focus on what matters most while keeping people in control of what gets actioned
At this stage, PI comments works on static proofs only.
Before you begin
To use PI comments:
Your team must be on an Enterprise plan
Your team admin must enable PI comments in team settings
PI Insights must also be enabled
Both PI Insights and add PI comments must be turned on in the proof setup screen when creating the proof.
Step 1
As the team administrator, click your avatar and select team, then settings. Turn on PageProof Intelligence®.
Step 2
Toggle on PI Insights in proofs and PI comments in proofs. Select the default for new proofs.
Step 3
On the proof setup screen, turn on PI insights and add PI comments.
How PI comments works
When a proof is created with PI Insights and add PI comments enabled:
PageProof Intelligence analyzes the proof
Critical and important PI Insights are identified
Comments are automatically added to the proof
Reviewers decide which comments should be actioned.
PI comments are informational by default and are not automatically marked as to-dos.
Users with the appropriate permissions (proof owners, approvers, or gatekeepers) can mark comments as red to-dos if action is required.
