PageProof Intelligence® (PI) credits are consumed whenever PI analyzes content to generate insights. While the exact number of credits used depends on the amount and complexity of the data being analyzed, the information below provides a general guide.
Where PI credits are used
PI credits are consumed when generating PI insights in the following areas:
Dashboard insights – analyzing proof activity and trends across your team.
Reporting insights – analyzing report data and generating summaries.
Proof insights – analyzing the content of a proof to provide AI-generated feedback and recommendations, and adding these comments to the proof.
How credit consumption works
The number of credits used varies depending on how much information PI needs to analyze.
Proof insights
For proof analysis, PI typically consumes 1–3 credits per A4 or US Letter page.
Pages containing more text, images, or other design elements generally require more analysis and may consume more credits than simpler pages.
Dashboard and reporting insights
For dashboard and reporting insights, credit consumption is based on the volume of data being analyzed.
For example, generating insights for a report containing 50 proofs will typically consume fewer credits than generating insights for a report containing 200 proofs.
Because every team’s content and reporting needs are different, credit usage will vary.
View PI credit usage
Team administrators can see exactly how PageProof Intelligence® (PI) credits have been used across their team over the last three months.
Step 1
Click your avatar and select Team, then Team Settings. Under the Account tab, click view usage.
The usage report shows:
Date the credits were consumed.
Category where the credits were used:
Proof – PI features run against a proof.
Dashboard – PI Insights generated on the dashboard.
Reporting – PI Insights generated within reports.
User who initiated the PI feature.
Credits consumed for that action.
This report helps team administrators understand how PI credits are being used across the team, identify usage patterns, and better plan future credit requirements.
Running low on credits?
Team admins with access to Team Settings are automatically notified when their team’s PI credits are running low. A second email notification is sent if all available credits have been used.
Once credits have been topped up, PI features become available again automatically.
