Integrating PageProof with Make

It’s easy to create a new webhook in Make and use a PageProof webhook to connect the two products together. Here’s how.

By using a webhook in Make and a webhook in PageProof, you can automate details of proof events to populate data and trigger actions in a range of applications – for example teamwork, Asana, Google Sheets, Jira, and many more.

Create a new webhook in Make

Step 1

In Make, click scenarios.

Make scenarios

Step 2

Click create a new scenario and select webhooks and then custom webhook.

Select webhooks and custom webhook

Step 3

Select create new webhook.

Select create a webhook and add the webhook name.
  • Name the webhook. For example Proof Approved.

  • Click add to save the webhook.

Make is now listening to the webhook URL for data to be received.

Click copy address to clipboard

Click copy address to clipboard.

Create a new webhook in PageProof

Step 1

Follow these instructions and paste the Make webhook URL copied in the previous step, into the url field.

For example:

Example webhook in PageProof with the webhook URL from Make.

Whenever this event is triggered in PageProof, the data payload will be sent to the Make URL which is always listening.

Trigger the event in PageProof

In PageProof, trigger the webhook event so that a data payload will be received by the Make webhook and this data can be mapped into a Make module (for example, a Google Sheet, Trello Card, sms text).

For example, if your webhook event was 'proof approved', then approve a proof in PageProof to trigger the event so that you have data to map.

Add a module in Make

Add a module in Make to receive the webhook event data – in this example we will choose the app Google Sheets.

Step 1

In Make, click scenarios and click the plus next to webhooks to add a module.

Select Google Sheets.

Step 2

Choose add a row and map the data fields to the fields in the Google Sheet.

Remember, this could be any app that Make supports, for example Asana, Airtable, teamwork, Jira etc.
