How workflow template usage is counted

A workflow template usage count increases when a workflow template is applied during proof creation.

Single proof creation

When you create an individual proof and apply a workflow template, this counts as 1 use.

Collection proof creation

When you create a collection of proofs and apply a workflow template during the shared setup process, this also counts as 1 use – regardless of how many proofs are included in the collection.

The workflow template is counted once because it was applied one time during the collection setup process.

Why workflow template usage matters

Workflow template usage gives visibility into how your team works and which workflows are delivering the most value.

You can use this information to:

  • Identify the workflow templates your team relies on most

  • Favorite commonly used workflow templates for faster access

  • Spot outdated or unused workflow templates

  • Keep your workflow template list clean and organized

  • Better understand adoption across your team.

Templates with low or no usage may be good candidates for review or deletion, while highly used templates may be worth favoriting for easier access during proof setup.
