Firstly, enable dictation in your browser.

To turn on dictation in the browser

In the browser menu, select edit and then start dictation... and follow the prompts to turn the browser feature on.

If you use multiple browsers when using PageProof, you will want to turn this on in all the browsers you use.

To use dictation when creating your comment

Use the red pen to place a comment. When the comment is open and the cursor is flashing inside the comment field, use the keyboard shortcut fn + fn to activate dictation. A blue microphone icon will display when the dictation is waiting for speech.

Alternatively, you can turn on/off the dictation by selecting edit and start/stop dictation in the browser menu.

Dictation is available by default on a mobile device by tapping the microphone symbol when the keyboard is active.
